Bring back good old memories of those days when me and my elder brother would run out of our house all the way to the main road, chasing my DAD while he cycle his way to work, sometime pull his bicycle try not to let him go. Once we see him on the road, we usually feel sad and ....... drag ourself back home. But ......
When sunset come, we will usually squat near the main road waiting for his return, DAD would come down from his bicycle, me and my brother will push the bicycle and walk back with our old man. Funny, it is this moment that we enjoy most, cause Dad will tell us about his work, story about the good, the bad and the ugly, teach us things on staying alive and most of the time Sing Our Way Home to ................ Dinner!
For those who stay in old Jurong Road or Kampong during your younger days, those were the days.
Now ....
The leader of the band is tired
And his eyes are growing old
But his blood runs through my instrument
And his song is in my soul .....................
STILL AND ALWAYS WILL
I thank you for the music and your stories of the road
I thank you for the kindness and the times when you got tough
And if we did not said, "I love you" near enough,
